Meeting: Gateway Science Museum

Adrienne McGraw moved to Chico in 2018 to become the Gateway Science Museum’s Executive Director. Adrienne has worked in museums for over 25 years with experience in museum education, exhibition development, community engagement and administration. Prior to coming Gateway, Adrienne chaired the Museum Studies Master’s Program at John F Kennedy University where she lead the thesis class, helping dozens of students along their academic and professional paths.

She holds an MS in Environmental Education, an MA in Museum Studies and a BA in Environmental Studies. Most recently at Gateway, she led the team in developing Fossils & Formations, a deep dive into the paleontological and geologic past of the North State. Adrienne is a 30 year vegan and is passionate about connecting people to the natural world.
