The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin has embarked on a journey to reduce plastic waste in our community, through an initiative to visit local schools to raise awareness of humanity’s impact on the environment and the negative effects of plastic waste in our seas and on land. Our waste reduction and recycling training targets youth groups to instill effective environmental stewardship practices and help develop a sense of responsibility for a sustainable future.

We provide all participating students with sturdy and stylish, reusable shopping bags to use in their daily lives through a collective effort to minimize plastic bag waste that is accumulating on our planet Earth. All Rotarians and guests at our club meetings receive the complimentary shopping bags as well. Special thanks to our Environmental Preservation Committee for spearheading this initiative.
