Happy Dollars  and a Sneaky Fine by Lazy Karl

Tony was first up with a Happy Dollar for the interview with Karl about the Barre Art Slash on WCAX.

Eddie threw a couple of Happy Dollars in the basket: one for returning from Los Angeles where he was a volunteer for the PGA; and one for being invited to the 100th Anniversary Dinner of the Montpelier Rotary Club. He served as president
when he was a member of Montpelier Club.

Karl was immediately on his feet proposing a fine of one-and-nine on Eddie for not wearing his PGA uniform. It was pointed out that he was wearing a Rotary shirt. Fine did not pass.

Joe gave a dollar to polio.

Tom, Tony and Joe got into discussion on sculptures vs. statues as well as Joe calling  Caroline Carolyn instead of Caroline. The result of this convoluted  discussion was $.50 for the coffers.

Keith gave a Happy Dollar because he dropped the kids off at Camp Sebago. It’s where he met his wife.

Bob Pope held us spellbound with a dog poop story. Details upon request. No money resulted from his saga.

Doug proudly showed us his Russian Rotary pin and gave $5 and urged us to seek peace.

President Nicole introduced Patrick Gardner and called for a vote for him to become a member of the Barre Rotary Club. Tony moved and Joe seconded motion to that affect.  Motion passed unanimously.

Karl took center stage to familiarize us with our website. He showed us how to obtain information that is on our website. At the end of his presentation we will be  much more knowledgeable when we navigate our website. Thanks, Karl.

Until next time....That's all folks
