Club Presidents Message
It gives me immense pleasure and pride to find myself leading our club in the year 2022-23, The rotary year of women empowerment; when Jennifer Jones Rotary International’s first female president is eager to advance Rotary’s narrative and DG Sandhya Maini is off to a fantastic start with her fantastic vision.
Everyone was looking forward to coming together this year, to spend time with family, friends, and fellow rotarians, having to suspend this popular event during the pandemic.
An estimated 5.9 million children under the age of five die each year because of malnutrition, inadequate health care, and poor sanitation — all of which can be prevented.
Sunil and Usha had an opportunity to meet with Rotary International Immediate Past President Shekhar Mehta on February 13, 2023 during there visit to Calcutta
Rotary's project partner ShelterBox’s team is in Turkey, collaborating closely with Rotary district leaders to respond to provide people affected by the earthquake with tents and essential aid items they need.
The purpose of Presidents-Elect Training Seminars (PETS) is to further develop leadership skills and enhance Rotary knowledge to help incoming presidents to prepare to have a successful year as club president in the upcoming rotary year. Incoming president of the club attended the seminar.

The club assembly, an in person meeting at Cassie Campbell Community Center took place on November 28th 2022. The club members unanimously decided that President Kiran Duggal would continue for the next term.
Kick-off the holiday season with the Winter Lights Festival in Downtown Brampton was scheduled on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
