A Message to Interact Club Advisers and Club Sponsors 

 
 
 
As an Interact club sponsor or adviser, we thank you for your support of young leaders in your Interact club. We know that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the plans of many Interact clubs around the world. As we begin this new Rotary year, we wanted share ways to help invigorate and energize your club. Explore Rotary's Service-Learning Resources 

Are you looking for activities for your Interact club to do online? These resources are for you. Rotary’s new service-learning online resources, developed in partnership with NYLC, are designed to empower youth. Service-learning is a proven method of activating young people to address the root cause of community issues and hone their leadership skills, inspiring them to make lasting change and setting them on a path for a lifetime of service. Visit Rotary’s Learning Center to access these new research-based, outcome-driven, and interactive resources for youth participants and adult advisers.   • Subscribe to Young Leaders in Action, our monthly Programs for Young Leaders e-newsletter. You will learn about all of the latest resources and updates for Interact, as well as our other programs for young leaders.

Celebrate Your Accomplishments

  • Celebrate World Interact Week this 1-7 November! This is a time for Interactors around the world to take action and share how their clubs make a difference in their communities using #WorldInteractWeek. Find new ideas to celebrate on the Interact Facebook page. 
  • Encourage Interactors in your club to share their best service projects and leadership development activities for the 2021 Interact Awards. Follow the Interact Facebook page to learn more about when the nominations will open.
  • The Rotary Citation for Interact Clubs recognizes Interact clubs that are taking action to make a positive difference. As an Interact club sponsor or adviser, you may nominate qualifying Interact clubs no later than 15 August 2022. Ensure You Are Up-to-date on Rotary's Youth Protection Policies

  • Take the recently updated online course Protecting Youth Program Participants in Rotary's Learning Center. This course helps club and district leaders understand, recognize, address, and prevent abuse and harassment. 
  • Find Rotary’s 'Statement of Conduct for Working with Youth' and more information on student safety and risk management in the Rotary Youth Protection Guide.
  • Review Rotary’s youth travel policies in the Code of Policies (listed under 2.120.3).
