Nominations for the 2018 Sunshine Coast Australia Day Awards are now open – and you’re encouraged to nominate a local hero.
In 2018, the region will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Sunshine Coast Australia Day Awards. Over the past decade we have been able to recognise and honour an outstanding list of recipients from a wide cross-section of community – and 2018 will be no different. As a past nominator in the Sunshine Coast Australia Day Awards, you are encouraged to again nominate a person, community group or organisation making a difference to life on the Coast, giving them the recognition they deserve.
Categories include:
Young Citizen of the Year, sponsored by USC
Senior Citizen on the Year, sponsored by Maroochy RSL
Community – Group or Organisation, sponsored by Sunshine Coast Daily
Environment, sponsored by Living Smart Sunshine Coast
Creative, sponsored by TAFE Queensland
Sport and Recreation, sponsored by Sunshine Coast Sports Federation.
