Merger of Rotary Districts 9600, 9630 and 9640

Further to the Vote of Clubs in Districts 9600, 9630 and 9640 the proposal to merge the three Districts was submitted to the April 2018 Board Meeting of Rotary International.  We have received advice as follows:
 
Please find below a decision of the April meeting of the RI Board:
 
D-1. Districting Committee Report
 
DECISION: The Board agrees to merge Districts 9600, 9630, and 9640, effective 1 July 2021, as follows:

District 9620

AUSTRALIA - Those parts of Queensland and New South Wales bounded by a line which runs from the Pacific Ocean west along latitude 26° until it reaches longitude 149° (the Queensland/South Australia and New South Wales/South Australia border) and the southern boundary running east along latitude 29° 25 minutes to longitude 152° thence south along longitude 152° to latitude 30°, thence east along latitude 30° to the Pacific Ocean, plus the countries of PAPUA NEW GUINEA, SOLOMON ISLANDS, and NAURU.
and requests the general secretary to notify Districts 9600, 9630, and 9640 of this decision;

This great news allows us to start the process and planning meetings with 9630 and 9640 will commence shortly.
