Thanks for the photos Ana
Judy was a great guide taking us through a variety of “hidden gems scattered throughout the Glass House Mountains in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, from Indigenous sites to local producers”.    Judy demonstrated great local knowledge, a love for this magnificent area, excellent networks and willingness to support to local farmers and small businesses.  We met with farmers who welcomed us sharing their enthusiasm as well as issues faced in growing their produce.   We drove through multiple small roads, stopped at the GlassHouse-Mountain-Lookout, at a small roadside shop selling local items, had a lovely brunch at a farm over a wonderful country view, etc.   It was particularly interesting for me to visit a local Indigenous site and hear about the relationship between the mountains and the Indigenous people.  It has increased my interest in further developing my knowledge directly form the Jinibara and Gubbi Gubbi peoples regarding their lifestyle, culture, beliefs and hopes for the future.  Additionally, Judy provided me with a cap, a map and a couple of Indigenous Gubbi Gubbi storybooks suitable for Early Childhood audiences which I have already commence to read to my young students.
