We had 15 in attendance, including guest speakers Yvonne and Nicole from NY events.
President Kaye opened the meeting, and we were treated to a beautiful curry.

Kaye passed around a form for members to put down the times they are available for our upcoming walk.

We need members to pay for their meal by Sunday.  Franziska can’t be chasing up meal payments during work time.
If there is a late cancellation, we can always credit the funds for the next meeting. Cancellations are accepted until Tuesday 9am.

Guest Speakers
Yvonne and Nicole told us about their business NY events.  They met as Kindy parents in 2016 and are both community minded.
They have a number of events including 4 comedy rooms.  They also brought Fringe to Kalamunda last year.  They are very keen to bring events to our community, and wish to work with the City Council.  They mentioned that the City of Belmont does this particularly well.
As we know, COVID has affected lots of things this year, and one has been the Zig Zag festival which will not go ahead this year.
There was some discussion on the proposed redevelopment of the Central Mall.  This will disrupt our markets for around 6 months, so we will need a plan as to where affected stalls can move to.  A suggestion would be to use Barber St.
NY events are looking at a Health and Wellbeing workshop in Kalamunda.  This is highly appropriate in the current climate.  They are also have planned a fundraiser for Fringe – a Dame Edna quiz night, which could be great fun.
The ladies were thanked by Jonathan, and we finished another lovely meeting.
