Stay Home | Flatten the Curve | Save Lives
It may be the life of someone you know.....
Some of you will know, some not - but I have cancer and in desperate need of life saving surgery. I need you and am asking you to please stay home and flatten the curve.
My life is in your hands!
The hospitals and health system is under so much pressure atm and I am beside myself that in another 5 days there will be so many COVID-19 cases that they will cancel or postpone my surgery scheduled for Sat 28/3.
I won’t die in the next 2 - 4 weeks, just in the next 2 - 5 years if I do not have this surgery in a timely manner.
I WANT TO LIVE and I am asking you to please STAY HOME and flatten the curve.
I sent the above to my golfing friends and it seem to have an impact so after much deliberation, have decided to also post to Facebook, not so you feel obligated to send me messages of support, (although they are appreciated) but so that you might understand the very real threat this virus has to so many on so many levels. So far as I am aware, I am still good to go on Sat, but that could change in an instant if cruise ships dock or the person to person spread takes off.
