Tara Groves-Taylor, Addiction Services Director, House of Friendship

After 17 years of leadership in Autism treatment in Ontario, Tara joined House of Friendhsip as Addiction Services Director in 2019 where she works alongside a team of dedicated professionals to provide a full continuum of services in support of individuals on their journey with addiction. 

Tara has a Bachelor of Professional Arts in Human Services, is certified in Project Management from the Harvard School of Public Health, as well as a Public Sector Leadership  certificate from Rotmans School of Management.

A passion for making a meaningful difference in people’s lives is what drew her to public service, and allowed her to apply her value based leadership perspective throughout her career.  Her systems lens creates service pathways that are part of a broader community based continuum, that seeks to ensure equitable access for all.
