The RCSE Service Project committee has put together packets of pre-cut construction paper squares, markers, and stickers, plus 75 suggested phrases so that each member can create inspirational and encouraging messages for children who recieve a care package from our charity partner, P.A.C.K.

These notes go into each bag of food that is given to kids and families in need at one of the 39 schools or community centers that P.A.C.K. works with to do their part to ensure that no one goes hungry in our community.

No artistic talent is required -- just a few minutes of your time to help a local child feel a bit more confident and encouraged.  This is a project that members can share with their own children, grandchildren, spouses, or partners - truly, many hands make light work!

P.A.C.K. puts over 17,000 notes into care packages each month, so this will be something that we do regularly and is a very easy way to help brighten someone's day by letting them know that their community cares for them.

Please pick-up your packet at a regular Friday meeting or email Laura Lane (llmckinnon@comcast.net) or Andrew (amcosey@gmail.com) to request your packet.  Packets can be returned at any time during the month of March.
