Heads Up - Duck Race - replanned for 5th February

The Annual Wanaka Rotary Club Duck Race has now been re-scheduled to take place on the 5th February, assuming that current Covid 19 regulations remain unchanged.

We will probably be running a slightly truncated race, finishing at the bridge on Brownston St. rather than at Dinosaur Park. (Under current Covid regulations the park cannot be used for events, even the New Year fireworks have been cancelled).

A roster for the Duck  Race will be put out shortly. Hopefully the event will go smoothly, with settled weather and happy children.

Please note that John Huddleston has kindly agreed to be the organiser this year in my absence. Wishing you all a Happy Christmas, and relaxing New Year celebrations !
