For a couple of weeks now the club has been experimenting with a new version of the weekly bulletin.

It has a digital focus and the reason for that is to allow a seamless transition between the bulletin and the club's website.

We have put together this easy guide so you can find your way around the new bulletin.  Please click on the "Read more" message to get the full guide.

Finding your way around your new bulletin

The key to the new bulletin is really to remember to click on the headings, hyperlinks, videos etc to reveal more information.

Step 1:
Each week when you receive your bulletin via email, look at the very top of it for a message that simply says "Having trouble viewing this email? Click here to view it online"  Follow the instruction to "click here" and it will make it more reader friendly for you.

Main areas of the bulletin.
President message: Each week the president delivers a message to members. If you look carefully, right below her name is the message "Click to send an email" by simply clicking on that it will allow you to email the president directly from the bulletin.

Selection of stories: Underneath the president's message is a list of stories that change each week. A small part of the story is put on the front of the bulletin but more information can be found by either clicking on the headline or clicking where it says "Read more".
For an example this week you could either click on the headings: Tribute to Our Warren, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards of 3 Waters Reform to get a lot more information.

Speakers: Underneath this heading is a list of speakers. If you click on the speaker's name, it will take you to more information about the speaker and a photo.

Upcoming Events: Underneath this heading is a list of meetings and district meetings. Click on the different dates of meetings listed to reveal more details about where it is, time etc.

Meeting Responsibilities: Meeting duties are listed here in this section at the base of the bulletin in the blue.  Please check each week and if you are rostered on. If you cannot do the duty please arrange for a swap with a member and let President Lisa know.

Directors:  Club executives and directors are noted on each bulletin with a click through so if you want to contact a director you can email directly from the bulletin.

What is a hyperlink?

A hyperlink is a piece of text that when clicked takes the user to a webpage.

For the new look bulletin we have tried to ensure the hyperlinks are bold so they stand out. This means we can include vasts amount of information from numerous sources on different topics.
