The three waters reform is a significant change that will impact on all of our southern councils and ultimately ratepayers. Our guest speaker on October 5, 2021, Nobby Clark, will give his personal opinion on the reform. His personal statement has been downloaded, and it's worth members being across it ahead of his talk on Tuesday. You can find it by clicking on the "read more" button, and you'll find it in the top left-hand corner of the new page.  All councils have now given feedback on the reform.

The 3 Waters Reform is an iniative by the Government to look at how individual councils manage drinking water, waste water and stormwater.

Councils have until the end of September to lodge their submissions on the proposal. Below is included a range of links to various news stories, government stories and opinion pieces that cover the topic of 3 Waters.

Please note, this is not an exhaustive list of information merely a selection. Members are encouraged to seek out  more information on this topic as they see fit.
