On June 8, in place of their usual Monday meeting, local Rotarians held a Guess-Who’s-Coming-to-dinner event in support of Ronald McDonald House (RMH).   The initiative was in support of the RMH annual winter-time fund-raising event called HOST-A-ROAST (hostaroast.kiwi).   Four Rotarians offered to host a dinner party for other Rotary colleagues, and so on the night 20 Rotarians shared themselves around 4 homes and four dinner parties proceeded.  Much conversation and frivolity followed as well as an amazing repertoire of fine food and wine.  Rotarians do fun stuff well – and on this occasion raised $500 for Ronald McDonald House as well.  Pictured from left are current President Neroli McRae showing her expertise in taking selfies at one of the dinners, and her companions Jo & Craig Lunn and Doreen Evans, and host Alan Lloyd.  Standing is Barbara Lloyd co-host.
