A huge thank you to all who were able to give us some of their time last weekend. I believe that the decision to change collection points to Countdown from the Mall was correct, so thanks very much to High Street's Countdown.
On Friday 2nd we collected from 11:00 till 6:00 The report I received from the collectors in the first shift from 11:00 to 12:00 was that it started a bit slow. Marion and I did the last shift from 5:00 to 6:00 and it was quite steady.
On Saturday the 3rd we also collected from 11:00 to 6:00 Steady to start but dead at 5:00 till 5:30 so finished early at 5:30 We will definitely consider starting early and
finishing at 5:00 subject to it slowing down like this year.
How did we do:
Friday Total $423.20 made up of 33% notes and 67% coin
Saturday Total $555.60 made up of 35% notes and 65% coin
Overall Total $978.80 WELL DONE
All of this money stays in the local coffers and helps to provide a much appreciated service from our Community Educators.
