Planning to plant the 3 Totara tree that where purchased for the 30th anniversay of the club. Afterwards joining the Quail Island meet to do plant mainteance.

The ferry leaves from the Black Cat wharf in Lyttelton. Park in Lyttelton and walk over the main overbridge at the bottom of Oxford St. Follow the yellow painted footprints from the top of the bridge. The ferry leaves promptly so please be there by 9am. The ferry departs from Quail Island at 3:30pm.

Strong shoes or boots, warm clothes and a waterproof jacket are essential. Tools are provided, but please bring your own gardening gloves. Bring your own lunch. The island water supply is the same as Christchurch and is safe to drink.

Trips are meant to be social and fun. We normally finish work an hour after lunch, allowing you enough time to enjoy the island at your own pace before the ferry arrives.
