Emily Arthur-Moore from North Canterbury Fish and Game Council spoke to the club 9th November 2018 and a number of our club members got involved in the project. All members and friends are invited to join in.

Dear Habitat Restoration Volunteers,

We have a planting day coming up on the 6th of October out at Silverstream and were hoping you might be able to join us.

Start time: The planting will start at 10.30 am and go till about 2pm, but you are welcome to stay as long as you can.

Meeting location: Meeting at 10.30 am at Chamberlains Road (1km from the Gould’s Road intersection)

Bring: Spade & gloves

We will provide: Lunch (Pizza) & drinks

I know it’s the first weekend of the fishing season so I’ll understand if you can’t make it! I’ll email people the night before if we will have to postpone it due to weather.

Cheers

Emily
