ROTARY CLUB OF DULUTH

 FOUNDATION

Mission and Purpose Statement

The Rotary Club of Duluth Foundation provides a vehicle for Club Members to expand the Rotary tradition of service above self, with a focus on funding local community projects.

The Foundation is the Rotary Club of Duluth's local philantropic fund.  The Foundation was started in October 1991 to better serve our local communitty beyond what the Club could do alone.  The Foundation has grown with the generous donations of Club Members and others who wish to commemorate a special occasion, a life event, or a gift as a memorial for a life well lived.  Many Club members sustain the Foundation through annual giving and with bequests.

The Foundation is a meaningful way to commemorate a life and the importance of "Service above self."  And, as often stated by Past President and Past District Governor Wes Westmorland, to "be ever mindful of the needs of others".
