Dear Alex Gatt and the members of the Rotary Club of St. Johns
My name is Tammo Maertens. I am one of the volunteers for ShelterBox in Germany and I am currently a student at the University of Applied Science in Bremen. In 2010 I had contact with Rotary for the first time. I was an exchange student through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program in 2010/2011 for a year in the USA. During this time, I was able to attend the Rotary meetings and activities, which I really enjoyed. As part of my undergraduate program I have to do an internship abroad. I received an internship position at Hamburg Sud in Auckland. The internship lasts from the beginning of August 2018 until the end of February 2019. For this time I am looking for a small apartment or a room in Auckland.  (Click for more...)
I will get paid for the internship, so that it won't be a problem to pay for rent. In addition, the accommodation should be furnished, since I cannot bring furniture from Germany. It would be nice if you could forward my mail to other members of your club. Maybe they have a tip on where to look for an apartment or they have friends and relatives who are looking for a tenant or roommate for the period. For further questions or more detailed information about me please contact me. Thank you very much in advance!
