RYDA is administered by Road Safety Education RSE, with the assistance of Rotarians on the actual Training Days. Our club has been very active again this year with the most recent programmes for both Strathallan and Kings College with approximately 120 to 150 Students attending on the respective days.
We have set a special fund aside within our Charitable Trust to assist with funding where needed. It is used to fill the funding holes that appear across our district that would otherwise prevent any particular group from participating. This gives some certainty to the RYDA District Committee in their quest to see as many year 11 and 12 Students reap the benefits of this potentially lifesaving education. So, a BIG Thank you from our District Committee - Papakura you are the Bomb!!!!!
A special thank you to the Active Traffic Control people for their continuing support with an endless supply of Safety Cones. The wonderful Manager Tunisia and her team make it so easy for us and handly located at 48 Oakleigh Avenue, Takanini. If you need some cones they are the people to use!
