At the Rotary International Convention in Toronto the top districts for 'Per Capita Giving' to PolioPlus https://www.endpolio.org/ were honoured on the stage. District 9920 received acknowledgement for being the fourth largest contributing district to Polio giving at $461.86 per District Member average. DGE Ingrid Waugh was on stage to receive this acknowledgement for the District.
Thanks to a donation from the New Zealand Government which was distributed across New Zealand rotary clubs - ALL NZ Districts were in the top 10 in the world! DGE Ingrid clearly so proud, said on Facebook that it was "Such an honour to represent our District. The other 5 NZ Districts were also on stage - 6 out of 25 - go NZ! Aiming high for 2019-20".
