A big thank you to all the members who supported the Afghanistan refugee family. The family was so grateful for all the support they have received from our club members.
You are all so generous with what you donated to the family in December. They got household items, linen, blankets, kitchen items, Rosehill College uniform, books and new toys. Donna and David got a bike and a big bag of clothes from a very kind family in their neighbourhood who advertised on the local Facebook page. The youngest boy just loves his new bike and toys! Thank you again for the support.
A member of the Red Cross refugee re-settlement program will come to the club later this year to talk about the refugee program in Papakura and South Auckland.
