Victoria Carter ONZM

President – Northern Club

Join us to hear from Victoria Carter, who in 2018 made history as the first female President of the Northern Club, the site of our weekly Rotary meetings.

Victoria’s first governance experience came when she served for nearly 10 years with the Auckland Kindergarten Association as president, vice-president, and a board member. She was also chair of the Auckland Arts Festival from 1999 to 2015, deputy chair of New Zealand Thoroughbred Racing, and director of the Auckland Racing Club.

Victoria was an Auckland City councillor from 1998 to 2004 and is a patron of the Christie Marceau Charitable Trust. In 2009 she co-founded Cityhop, an eco-friendly car-share company.

In the 2016 New Year Honours Victoria Carter was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for her services to the arts, business and the community.
