New Minas Garden Planting Party

Help "Make New Minas Beautiful Again" by joining us 10am-12pm June 16th at Founders Park to plant trees and flowers under the direction of Tim Amos(retired NSCC Horticulture Instructor). This project is our part of DG Don Sword's PIPE Dreams...the E being for Environment! We will be helping the envionment and making New Minas a little better to look at! Hoping this is just Phase 1 of many to come as part of the Village of New Minas beautification!

Founders Park is at the West end of New Minas; on the hill coming by from the Research Centre. Because the roads in New Minas are under construction, parking and access can be a bit of an issue. I suggest parking at the bottom of the hill in the 'Eaves Hollow' parking lot or at the top of the hill near the Recycling Depot.

Bring a shovel and a rake if you have one but we will have some to share.

We will also have some Rotarians going to The Flower Cart to paint Rotary Logos on picnics tables that we will also set up in Founders Park. Please let me know if you wish to paint instead of planting! We will have some signs out that say "Rotary at Work" at the site!
