SUSPENDED / SCHOOL CLOSURE: JHES Breakfast Program

The Joseph Howe Elementary School runs a daily breakfast program that feeds approximately 50 children per day and our club supports both financially and with volunteer time on Wednesday mornings.

What is involved when volunteering your time on Wednesday mornings? Arrive at 7:30am to start prepping the food. At 8:30am, the doors are open to the children so serving begins and continues until 8:50am or when the food runs out. A quick cleanup of washing dishes and putting things away in the kitchen takes you to about 9- 9:15am. Then you're on your way out the door!
