What a great night it was celebrating another Rotary year under our belts, wishing Carol farewell as President and ushering in our new board and Leigh-Ann as President for the 2019-2020...all while wearing Mickey ears!

Before the Meeting Fun

We began the night with a slide show displaying all the fun we had throughout the year as well as our accomplishments including helping at the Gathering Inn and Wine-d Up for Youth.  From there we went into a Trivia Tie Breaker between the Passport One group and The Troublemakers.  One question both groups got wrong...Who is the biggest toy distributor in America? Answer: McDonalds!  After a round of questions the tie was broken with Passport One winning the coveted bragging right.

Val Mebust, President of the Rotary Club of Roseville, presented the club with a check for $500.  this was iven to us in exchange for the manpower we provided to their successful Taco Throwdown fundraiser.  We also  found out that Julia Shohbozian will be rejoining Passport and she was presented with a Paul Harris award by her mentor JoAnne Tanner.

Carol gave her final remarks and received a standing ovation for a job well done.  AG, Joe Scheimer presented her with a Paul Harris Award, Leigh-Ann presented to her a gift from the club that included a gift card to use on her trip to Woodland Texas in the Fall as well as some wine and The Greatest Showman DVD.  Lastly, PP Dwight Chambers presented Carol with her official Passport Past President Name Badge to wear with pride.

The new board was installed into office by PDG Glenn Fong.  It was a fantastic night with a lot of great accomplishments to celebrate and a air of excitement as the new Rotary year looms ahead of us.  Lets make it a good one!
