Natalie Bucknell is the speaker for this night. Natalie is from Clean Energy Nillumbik, which is a community group formed in 2017. She will be talking on investigating possible options for the community to become 100% renewable. This community group is part of a global groundswell of communities acting to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to ensure a safe climate. Clean Energy Nillumbik is a volunteer led community group committed to accelerating the transition to renewables in the green wedge.
As you come into the Golf Club from the car park watch out for the electric car available to have a look at and ask questions about.

Ross McDonald has found clubs members with extraordinary talents and will be presenting a night of Local Talent on Thursday, 13 February.
With some great acts lined up, you can expect a night of fun and laughter and being in awe of those performing.

Thursday 20 February - NO MEETING this week at Heidelberg Golf Club
Instead of our usual meeting at the Golf Club it was agreed to support the Rotary Club of Heidelberg Bushfire Fundraiser night - 'A Night with Athol Guy' at Watsonia RSL on Tuesday 25 February 2020.
The dinner and show is $90 per person and includes a three course meal and 'The Seekers' Story', with $50 of the ticket price to go to the Relief Fund.

Thursday 27 February 2020 - Social Night at Machin Restaurant, Eltham
The Golf Club cannot accommodate us this week and so a social night has been organised at Machin Restaurant - Main Road, Eltham on Thursday 27 February 2020.
The cost will be $35 per person (TBC by Ken Paynter).
Machin is a sponsor of the Eltham Festival and it would be great to have members, partners and friends encouraged to come along and support one of our festival sponsors.

Graeme and Lyn Hardiman have kindly opened their home at Rye to members and partners to enjoy a lunch on the deck overlooking Port Phillip Bay.

Each week at the meetings I will be selling raffle tickets, for prizes totalling $1,000, with proceeds going to Rotary Foundation. There are 100 tickets @ $20 each that will be drawn on 1st March at the lunch.

Thursday 30 April 2020 - NO MEETING
There will not be a meeting at the Heidelberg Golf Club - instead we encourage members to attend either by playing or attending the cocktail function at the David McFarlane Charity Golf Day.
This golf day is run by the McFarlane family and raises funds that contribute to the scholarship given to Brigette Duckworth at WEHI.
It is a fun day with golf being the big winner for those playing and the Cocktail Party for those who don't play golf!!
