The Rotary Club of Tauranga Te Papa is proud to present its inaugural ANNUAL ROTARY DUCK RACE!
On Sunday, June 11, 2017 five thousand feisty specially-numbered rubber ducks will be launched from the waterfront on the Strand to vie for the finish line.
Public duck “adoption” ($5 per duck) will commence shortly and all proceeds from the event will be used to provide financial support to local community projects around the Bay of Plenty.
We'll also be holding a Corporate Challenge, where businesses can participate in this fun event by buying a larger duck for $200 - which can be dressed up with your logo or business colours (ducks will be available 6 weeks prior to race day).
