Cia Siab August Rice Pantry

The mission of Cia Siab, Inc. is to provide culturally empowering advocacy to the Hmoob Community through holistic support services, with the revitalization of the Hmoob language and culture as the foundation.

Since the start of the pandemic, Cia Siab has been raising funds to give out 25-pound bags of rice to Hmoob families in the Coulee Region. In addition, they partner with the Hunger Task Force to provide other essential items to these families. 

Volunteer responsiblities include: 

• Directing traffic

• Loading 25-pound bags of rice into vehicles 

• Bagging and loading produce into vehicles 

• Cleaning up after the event 

We are looking for 12 - 15 volunteers to make this event a success!
