Savannah Book Festival

The festival coordinators are working with about 150-200 volunteers, so your readiness to help is greatly appreciated and needed. Because there are so many needs, you can select what type of work you prefer for example needs include: 

Assist with line management, check-in, and Covid screening (vaccinated or negative test) for the Savannah Book Festival.

Volunteers may be required to provide identification and either proof of vaccination or the results of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test taken no more than three days prior to the date of the event for which they are volunteering.  In addition, volunteers may be required to wear a mask while volunteering. 

8am shift - setting stanchions and signs for line management 

There are two venues at 1:40pm that need people cleared out so they can be refilled by a 2pm start time. 

4-6pm shift -- Event disassembly:tents, tables, chairs, packing supplies 

Volunteers will receive $5 vouchers that can be used at the food trucks at Telfair Square during the day on Saturday. You are also encouraged and invited to listen to speakers before and after your shift.
