ROTARIANS! This is a very important sweat equity in our portfolio. We are partners with Lower Trent Conservation and it is our mandate to plant 1 tree per Rotarian in the next year to celebrate our Military! I say we can do better then that and plant 10 trees per Rotarian in just our club! All the trees are being donated by the Lower Trent Conservation!

DIG IN and GET DIRTY for a really great cause - "Greening the Greenbelt"!

This fantastic partnership has grown to include our club, Lower Trent Conservation, the Great Lakes Guardian Community Fund, the Vineland Research & Innovation Centre and now the “Highway of Heroes Tribute! Did you know the Highway of Heroes Tribute has chose this revitalized section of the Trenton Greenbelt Conservation Area as the site for its annual anniversary celebration happening the first week in November, leading up to Remembrance Day?

Your help is needed on Saturday, October 21 between 9:00 am & noon, to assist with the fall planting phase and site preparation leading up to the Highway of Heroes Tribute celebration. This is our club's opportunity to shine, with a special media advisory promoting our efforts being issued and a media photo opportunity for all members to participate in.

Volunteers will be asked to help with the digging, planting and watering of native trees, shrubs and wildflowers...remember, many hands make light work! Everyone is welcome to join us, so please feel free to bring along your friends and family.

To register as a volunteer (or more information) please contact Community Service Director Sandi Ramsay at sandisales69@gmail.com or by phone at 613-848-5665.

Thank you for your kind consideration,

Your Community Service Committee, Rotary Club of Trenton
