Frank O'Dea

From "Street Kid to Biz Wiz," Frank O'Dea's career is a reminder for people to never give up. A charmed childhood in Montreal was no salvo for what was to come, but Frank did overcome being a drunk and panhandler on the streets and became a successful serial entrepreneur.

As co-founder of one of Canada's first coffee chains, The Second Cup, he demonstrated his business ingenuity and went on to co-found ProShred Security, and to lead a variety of businesses as C.E.O and Chairman.

He soon learned that his real calling was in giving back to his community and co-founded several not-for-profit organizations including The Canadian Landmine Foundation. Frank O'Dea currently serves as the Chair of CUSO International, a non for profit organization operating in 20+ countries around the globe.

His avocational work was recognized when Frank became an Officer in the Order of Canada, one of the highest civilian honours in the country. Frank has also been awarded Rotary International's prestigious Paul Harris award four times.
