The Kidney Foundation of Western New York (KFWNY) was established in 2015 to address two related areas of need: community awareness and patient support. In the broader community, KFWNY works to raise awareness of kidney disease, increase knowledge of risk factors, and provide information on prevention and treatment. For individuals dealing with kidney disease, KFWNY’s role includes providing patient support and advocacy, offering information on health care options, and assisting with emergency financial, nutritional or transportation needs.
