Registration

Please have everyone complete registration by July 3rd. Volunteers should first register and complete the waiver here: https://www.habitatbuffalo.org/volunteer-registration/

They will then be redirected to our website where they can select the “Construction Volunteer Calendar” and sign up for your day. If volunteers navigate to July 13th, they will see your groups name on the calendar. They should click “Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus Rotary” and they will have the opportunity to sign-up for your build day.

  • Your team will be working at 159 Newburgh Ave, Buffalo, NY. Please arrive by 8:45 a.m., and plan to stay until 3:00 p.m. Let us know if this may be a problem and we will notify you of any changes in location as soon as possible.
  • We do work in all weather conditions!! You may be working inside or outside, or in a home that may or may not have heat, so please dress appropriately for the weather- we suggest layers
  • Bring a lunch, we schedule a 30 minute lunch break from 12:00-12:30.
  • Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes. Note that you may be required to wear additional safety equipment (such as hard hats, safety glasses, protective gloves, etc.) which will be provided by Habitat.
  • Since we work on all stages of construction at multiple sites, it is difficult for us to pass on the details of what your build day will entail. Please come prepared to follow the direction of your site supervisor and know your work is valuable to the completion of the home, whatever that work may be.
