Club Fireside

You are invited to join-us for an outdoor “six-feet-apart” social get together on Thursday, July 30^th @ 7:00pm at my home (2636 Theatre Road South).  We’ll have some drinks and finger foods – no need to bring anything except ideas on how we can grow our Rotary Membership.  As new members your input into how we can make Rotary more attractive to new members and keep our existing members engaged is so invaluable.

One effective way to keep members engaged is to ask them for their help and input.  For that reason, I am inviting you to join the Membership Committee for the upcoming Rotary Year.  Last night we had a very enthusiastic Board Meeting led by our new President, Bob Biffin.  It is apparent from last night’s meeting that all the committees will be working together so that we can collectively accomplish many things to help make Port Hope an even more special town.

At our meeting next Thursday, July 30^th,   we will be welcoming 4 prospects to the Port Hope Rotary Club.  Some of them have attended our virtual Rotary meetings and they all have expressed interest in potentially joining our club.

Our family dog, Laica, invites everyone to bring their swim suits and join her in the pool.  We can continue to socially distance in the pool and the chlorine is a great disinfectant.
