To help boost the population, the Pickering Rotary Club is doing its part by working with partners to install pollinator habitats -- or bee condos -- in Rotary Frenchman’s Bay West Park in Pickering.

Pollinator habitats installed at Pickering park to  help boost bee population

“We at the Pickering Rotary Club are proud to take an active part with the City of Pickering, the TRCA (Toronto and Region Conservation Authority), and SoRo (South Rosebank) Good Neighbours to ensure that important issues such as the declining bee population can be addressed,” said Perry Halls, Pickering Rotary member and past president. “We are hoping that this type of project can be repeated throughout the province and indeed all over the world.”
