GUEST SPEAKERS : Our own memebr Dan Pantaleo – His craft / Classification Talk
Dan was married in 1982 and he and his wife have 2 sons and a daughter. All doing very nicely in life. His parents came to Canada from Italy . Dan has 4 brothers and 2 sisters. His father was a hardworking Steam Fitter specializing in High Rises. A favourite memory of Dan was growing up in the lively Kensington Market area. When he was only 15 years old Dan began to consider a careerin Justice. Hence he went on to become a Police Officer for about 20 years before joining the private sector purchasing an Alarm Security Company . He started up the successful Canguard Agency around 2006. Canguard encompasses Private Investigation, Uniformed Guards ( keep multi past President Dave safe at home ), Training ( connected to Corrections Ontario ?) , Alarm Systems and Security Camera Systems. He currently employs 12 people and they all strive to deliver “ PREMIUM SERVICE “ Access through www.canguard.org. Daniel answered numerous questions from very interested listeners and said that 80 % of all home break ins happen the the daytime … and most through the front door.
We are certainly very fortunate to have added such a personable and interesting Rotarian.
