MORE ROTARY INFORMATION:

THANK YOU FOR ZOOM:

To our very own Oshawa-Parkwood Rotarian Eric Guernsey for arranging the Zoom Meeting sharing with Heather McMillan, Executive Director of the Durham Workforce Authority, The Durham Workforce Authority is the acknowledged provider of local workforce information and champion of workforce development initiatives unique to Durham Region. Their Mission is to produce and offer comprehensive Labour Market Information to our stakeholders, to facilitate workforce solutions by engaging community partners and employers and to encourage development and maintenance of a sustainable and dynamic workforce. It was so nice to be able to have a whole hour for our Zoom meeting. We look forward to all of our Zoom meetings and thank you both, for all of your help.

OUR REGULAR WEEKLY MEETINGS STILL ON ZOOM AND WILL NOT BE AT THE OSHAWA GOLF CLUB UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

We will let you know when and if we return to the Oshawa Golf Club. As it stands right now, the Oshawa Golf Club is not hosting any outside organizations (such as ourselves) at the present time.

August 25 – 7 to 8 PM on Zoom – New Members Get Together - We are excited to connect!  Get to know Rotary and other Rotarians in District 7070.  Join for this first membership session of the 2021/2022 Rotary year.

On Wednesday August  25th from 7 to 8 pm the District Membership Committee is hosting a New Member Zoom get together.  There is lots of interesting info about our Rotary organization and often not enough time in a regular meeting to ensure that new members get to hear about it.  So on August 25th,  join us as we share more Rotary basics and not so basics.  Bring any questions you might have! The session will be of particular interest to members who have joined Rotary in the past 2 years, but it is open to all Rotarians in District 7070. Register here: https://rotary7070.org/event/membership---new-members---session-1/

September 11 - 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Zoom – GROW YOUR ROTARY – SESSION 1 - This informative and interactive workshop will help keep our Rotary members engaged.  Explore the attraction of Rotary to bring new members to your club. Are you interested in your club’s path to Grow Rotary?  Having a strong vibrant Rotary Club involves Membership - looking after our members - new, seasoned and potential, Public Image – reaching out to our communities showing them what we do and showing the power of what we can do -  and our Foundation and what it allows us to do.  We encourage at least 3 members from a club to attend so you can share the discussion and work on plans integrating Membership, Public Image and Foundation in your growth strategy.

REGISTER TODAY and GROW YOUR CLUB PRESENCE. Register here: https://rotary7070.org/event/grow-your-rotary---part-1/
