Happy Birthday to Stanley Igboanugo tonight – and we all sang Happy Birthday to YOU Cha Cha, Cha !!! led by our very own Past District Governor Ted Morrison

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS -  

REMINDER:  to those who pledged $$$ to the Presidents Walk to pay at the Front Desk as soon as possible (list has been misplaced!!!). For every Dollar that you personally donate, anytime, during this Rotary year, to the Rotary Foundation Annual Programs Fund, our Rotary Club will match that amount to a maximum of $3,200 USD. Remember our goal “A Mill for Bill”.   (list has been misplaced!!!)

David Andrews - all superbowl draw tickets are out and since none have been returned, we thank everyone for selling them ALL.   We are assisting the Rotary E Club of Southern Ontario / Western New York sell the “Big Game 54 “ lottery tickets. It is now TIME to get the stubs in and the money into our bank and to the Rotary E Club. Please get your ticket stubs and money into Dave  - LAST CALL is November 5. We need to get the stubs back to the E Cub as soon as possible and get them into the draw. This has been an excellent fundraiser for our club. Thanks to everyone who did all of the selling.

David Andrews - October 24 – World Polio Day – Thank you to everyone that made Wrold Polio Day a huge success  - at the Flag Raising ceremonies in Oshawa and at Durham Regional Headquarters and also fo the livestream presentation at Durham College. A great team effort.  There are lost of photos on our District Facebook page and in the Photo Albums of the District website. Pres Lennis - KSV Board/Committee - meeting Wednesday November 6 at 7:30pm  at the Kids Safety Village

David Andrews:  Night of 1000 Dinners in support of the Canadian Landmines Foundation, hosted by Rotary Club of Oshawa is November 20 at the Officers Mess, Ontario Regiment, 52 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa - tickets $75.00. Hilda Finnigan noted there are two months (April & June 2020) needing a volunteer for Greeter/ Bulletin Editor AND we are updating our membership names, address and phone list

Hilda also announced that  Sue/Jackie are on Front Desk November and Ted is Greeter/Bulletin Editor

Hilda asked for  two volunteers to replace Al and herself at Bingo while they are in Florida (probably two Bingos during that time - January - March)
