 Pres. Linda Porritt announced upcoming Rotary events:

 Lobsterfest hosted by Rotary Club of Oshawa, Thursday June 27

District Governor Changeover and District 7070 Awards Presentations - Sunday July 7 - 2pm -4pm at the Scarborough Golf Club. Sign up at the District 7070 website. Cost is $10 per person.

The Eastern Rotary Clubs in District 7070 are having their annual Interclub BBQ - August 19  in Brighton at Proctor Park, 96 Young Street, Brighton, ON  K0K 1H0  from 5 to 8 PM

President's Night is July 9th, AND "Thank You" to  Linda and Devon for  hosting the After Party. SIGN UP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE FOR THE JULY 9 PRESIDENTIAL CHANGEOVER. SPOUSES INVITES. COST $22 PER PERSON.

 Dan commented on the beauty of Kinsman Park, noting that Rotary is responsible for some of that

 Devon offered Linda a walker for her "special" birthday, Linda ordered on "tall, dark and handsome"

 David Andrews thanked Pres. Linda for a "Great" year of Rotary

Sandy McDowell - wore her slippers to work - happy feet all day long?

 Ted looking at tile, flooring, etc. not his expense but insurance paid over many years

Terry Giles "thank you" to David for bringing him to Rotary

Hilda "overwhelmed??" realizing trip is drawing near, also wedding in August

GUEST SPEAKER

Members who attended the Rotary International Conference in Hamburg related their experiences and shared pictures.  Pres. Linda narrated, sharing the highlites of the scenery and the conference. Ted, Sharron, Devon and Lennis interacted noting as always the values that define Rotary in a changing world. Fellowship, Integrity, Diversity, Service, Leadership - these Core Values continue to define Rotary, helping us to honor our past , embrace our future, thus keeping Rotary relevant and thriving.

 Pres Linda adjourned the meeting sharing some thoughts of her year as President and noting "it will be great to sit back and watch this next year evolve"!!
