ANNOUNCEMENTS    

Ted announced that it is time to begin looking for silent auction merchandise and services for our Reverse Draw. Once again if each Rotarian could find two or three S/A items the silent auction would be a better success. We should have 60 to 70 items. Deliver the items to Ted, at least a photograph so that the signage can be made up.

Janice announced that on Sunday March 17, 2019 the Oshawa Generals game is available. The Gen’s will be playing against Sudbury.

Janice asked us to mark our Calendar for March 12, 2019 we will be having dinner at Finn McCool’s, a St Patrick’s Day celebration.

Robbie announced that Reverse draw tickets are now available for distribution and sale. Kindly see him for tickets, kindly remember this is one of our annual major fundraisers.

Robbie also reminded Team 3 that they are on duty at Bingo on Saturday February 2, 2019.

Kim Tan announced that she is here to get sponsorship for the Sweat for Good Challenge at the YMCA. She is asking for us to give generously. She was vital in the YMCA’s donation to our Silent Auction last year.

Kris is happy to be fully retired. Officially.

Janice is happy about an upcoming vacation in Florida.

Sue is also happy about an upcoming vacation in Florida.

Dan is happy his electric snow blower worked.

Kim Tan is happy to attend this evening and thanked us for our support.

Terry Giles is happy to announce that as of August 16, 2019 he will have been associated with Rotary for 60 years.

Devon is happy to see his old friend Terry Giles this evening. They met many years ago with Terry being the Chief Building Official for the City of Oshawa.

Bob S. is happy with his new vest which smells nice.
