PRESIDENT SUE’S OPENING REMARKS

Welcome! Hope this is our only quarantine party!

If I were a key, I would lock you;

If lightning, then I would shock you;

If I were a pier I would dock you;

If I had a band I would rock you.

If I were a spoon, I would feed you;

If I were a house, I would deed you;

On Valentine’s Day, I must plead you;

Valentine, I really need you!

February 18 – New members get together link in bulletin.

February 27 – 9:30 to 11:10 Grow Rotary Workshop part 3 (Pres Sue has registered)

GUEST SPEAKER:

President Sue invites us to share what we are drinking. After that round everyone sent their vote in for the most original drink by chat to Dave Penney to tally the vote. The winner was Larry Hurren. (He voted for himself but even after that vote was deleted he still won).

The main event—Scavenger hunt: Its indoors—couple of rules—you cannot retrieve anything from your vehicle and must at least touch the item on the list (Honour system—please no cheating). Dave Andrews displayed the 21-item list on zoom share. There was 15 minutes allowed to find the articles. The group went through the item list together one at a time and those who had the article declared it. In the end the Robbie Larocque team (Terri Lynn) and David Penney (Jan) team tied for the win.

Great Fun had by all.
