Dave announced that "Push for Change" walk with Joe Roberts on October 21 was well attended by Rotarians from Oshawa and Whitby - check for $10,000.00 presented from Rotary Clubs in Durham Region

Dave also announced that World Polio Day was well recognized in Durham Region; the District Conference 7070 this past weekend was a success with good speakers – and the 2017 Conference will be in Niagara on the Lake - November ¾

Pres Dave presented a fund raising opportunity - selling raffle tickets to win a trip to the Super Bowl game - those present agreed we should participate in this venture - Pres. Dave will pursue this opportunity on our behalf

NOV 15, 2016 we will be reviewing Fundraising Project Ideas – 2 minutes each ion the following: Herrongate Dinner Theatre – Sue McKinnon; Bingo at the Red Barn and Bingo with the Optimist Club – linda Porritt; Regent Theatre Event – Kim Boatman and Sandy McDowell; Fashion Show – Janice Coupland; Raffle ticket selling for a ajor prize – Robert Kipling; House Tour / man Cave Tout – Sue McKinnon; Craft beer and Food Truck Festival – Lennis Trotter; Golf Tournament – Mke McLaren & Rob Bland. The club members will choose an event or two and a committee will be formed to research all the details for the events and the club members will choose what fundraisers we will do.
