Rancho Viejo School Student Sponsorships
Rotary Club of Etobicoke has sponsored 40 students in Rancho Viejo School, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico to enroll in The Children's Art Foundation program to help young children of disadvantaged background in marginal communities to reach their full potential.
The Literacy Through Art program seeks to provide creative ways to enhance the literacy of children through art. Their words and imagination find life on both paper and canvas. In the development process, not only will they learn a skill which might help them make a living with their talent, but the accomplishments help boost their self-esteems and self-confidence.
