The name Lance is seldom used today. However, during King Arthur times people were called Lance a lot.
 
R Craig new Pres Joyce 9 years ago and they dated (before Shane). One morning Craig came down to find Joyce with her hands on her face and focused on the juice container. When asked what she was doing, she said she was following the instructions on the container. To Concentrate.

  • R Liesje has listed the clubs Bottle Drive and subsequent schedule on the upcoming events page on MYFM. Our next bottle drive is October 17 from 11am to 2pm at King Edward Park and every 3rd Saturday of each month.
  • Next board meeting Tuesday October 20 at the home of R Jeff,   6:30pm at 84 Northumberland Blvd in Trenton.
  • R Liesje is organizing the purchase of some new Rotary clothing. Let her know if you are interested.
  • We received two submissions to our Interclub Karaoke singing contest virtually. Some brief discussions about extending deadline.
  • R Emily is looking to initiate Coat for Kids at schools soon.
  • Looking for those interested in working with Jan Hoselton to develop special ornament for Rotary fundraiser.
  • R Emily has reached out to  local schools about how to handle Coats for Kids this year. May have to organize pick up place such as Community Centre.
  • Diners and Duffers for 2021 going ahead. Looking for new advertisers. $125 for black and white 1/4 page ad.

  • DG visit via Zoom - Monday October 19 at 7pm
  • 2020 Rotary District Conference theme is 'Heroes and Champions' and will be now April 9 to 11, 2021, at Pan Pacific Toronto (formerly Weston Prince Hotel).
  • Rotary District 7070 is going to the Dominican Republic March Break 2021. A service opportunity - sweat equity.
