On Saturday, August 13, 2022 we'd love for you, your family and friends to join us at the beautiful RiverWalk Park in Prescott, Ontario for a zero-waste picnic followed by a performance at the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Theatre Festival (optional).

ABOUT
Prescott's newest green space, RiverWalk Park, gives people unprecedented waterfront access along the St. Lawrence River with a walking/biking trail, lovely picnic area, children's play area, the Sandra S. Lawn Marina, and a view of large ships passing by in the St. Lawrence River. It sits directly across from Fort Wellington and the Prescott Golf Club. This will be the location of our Rotary Family and Friends Picnic, starting at 3 p.m.. We will be eating under the Rotary Club of Prescott's Gazebo that has picnic tables. And because of our recent award as a Rotary EnviroClub, we aiming to have a zero waste picnic (more details on that to come later).
The St. Lawrence Shakespeare Theatre Festival has been delighting audiences for over 20 years with an inspirational, professional and accessible theatre experience. Productions take place in magnificent natural surroundings of the River Walk Park Amphitheatre. On August 13, at 7 p.m., St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival will present John Buchan's The 39 STEPS - A Hitchcock Masterpiece with a dash of Monty Python. Hilarious fun for all ages!
All are welcome to join us for the picnic however Theatre Festival tickets MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE. We will coordinate the purchase of tickets however because these performances sell out early the deadline to let us know that you want to purchase theatre festival tickets is June 30, 2022. Ticket prices are $33 + HST for adults, Students $23 +HST, Children 14 and under are free. Payments can be made via Interac e-transfer to kateri.clark@yahoo.ca, noting how many tickets you are purchasing.
