Family of Rotary Picnic

Hello Etown Rotary:

 

I wanted to provide you with further details on this year's Rotary Members and their Families Picnic.  The event will be a "shine only" event at my house in Elizabethtown.  The address is: 92 Greenbriar Dr. Elizabethtown, PA 17022.  Event time will be 4:00 PM - ? and will take place on Saturday, October 23rd 20121.

 

The Family of Rotary Subcommittee is planning for a fun evening of good friends, family and fellowship.  There will be tailgate games to play, basketball, street chalk, wiffle ball and a few others.  There may even be some friendly, organized competition to take part in.  We all know our Club loves to show its skills off on the field. 

 

President Debbie will be providing Chicken BBQ on behalf of the Club as a main course.  In addition, we ask that you show off your culinary skills and provide a covered dish to share (limited yet there will be access to power.)  Kid drinks and water will be provided.  Link to sign up for food and supplies: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0F49A5A82CA1F49-family

 

Walters will be dropping a port-a-john the day before the event.  We will make sure it is well stocked with toilet tissue and hand sanitizer.

 

A paper sign up / RSVP sheet will begin circulating around our meetings (just like old times!)  We will need a head count 7 days prior so Debbie can order enough chicken to cover the guest list.  It is my hope that you and your loved ones can join us.

 

Finally, we will be taking the opportunity, since everyone is gathered together, to hopefully announce our fundraising amount from Pints for Polio and kick off the Tree Sale!  We are working with Mike K. and Glen B. on being ready for you to sign up for your shift at the picnic.  More to come on this as we get closer.
