Peter has had 5 careers, before becoming a local Real Estate Agent and is a passionate advocate for Community Gardens. (Peter was previously President of the local Historical Society for 9 years).
Peter's grandfather was an avid gardener who planted 170 roses. After planting 32 fruit trees (now citrus) he solved a Possum problem using a natural remedy, and ran out of space in his garden. He has now been using the nature strip for 5 years, and uses Coffee grounds from Bezirks Café, as well as seaweed, to maintain an "Organic Garden."
Peter also indicated that some land at Ford Reserve may also be made available for a Community Garden with garden beds, which could be a great asset for use by families living in apartments or nursing homes. Peter generously indicated he's happy to share knowledge and plants to help others- a local inspiration.
